You've opened this page as a local file. Sending works, but a link to a local file won't open on another device. Put this page online first (see README, takes about a minute).
Send files, privately.
Straight from your device to theirs. No cloud storage, no accounts, no size limits.
Receiving? Paste the link you were sent.

How it works
Your browser creates a random 256-bit key. It lives only in the part of the link after #, which browsers never send to any server.
The two devices find each other through a tiny matchmaking server, then connect directly (WebRTC). The file never passes through or rests on a server.
Every chunk is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on top of WebRTC's own encryption, and checked on arrival. A tampered or missing chunk stops the transfer.
Nothing is uploaded first, so there's no size cap. On Chrome and Edge, files stream straight to a folder you pick. Other browsers hold the file in memory until you save it, so very large files work best on desktop Chrome/Edge.
The sender's page has to stay open: closing it ends the share for good.
